Rod Hall is an Associate with Economic and Planning Systems interested in the intersection of urban planning, land use, economics, and equity and justice. Rod holds a Master of Community and Regional Planning from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy and Political Science from East Carolina University. Roderick is a member of the advisory board for Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust and a board member for Up for Growth Action. In 2021, Rod presented at the National American Planning Association Conference on data-driven innovation to modernize zoning for equity for the City of Los Angeles, emphasizing the role of redlining and spatial racism as the underlying factors to a multitude of problems in American cities. Additionally, in 2021, the Los Angeles chapter of the American Planning Association awarded Rod an award of merit for the Outstanding Young Planner category.
