The Los Angeles Section of the American Planning Association is hosting the 2016 California Planning Conference in Pasadena on October 22-25, 2016. We need VOLUNTEERS to serve on the Conference Planning Committee!
Please join us for the CONFERENCE KICKOFF on April 14th, 2015 from 6pm to 8pm at Gensler Los Angeles (500 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA 90071):
- Learn more about the conference planning process and the Conference Committees (Diversity, Mobile Workshops, Planners’ Guide/Orientation Tours, Program and Sessions, Public Relations and Merchandising, Special Events, Sponsorships, Volunteers, Others?)
- Sign up to serve on one (or more) conference committees
- Participate in some fun, interactive conference brainstorming
- Give us feedback on the proposed 2016 California Planning Conference theme and logo
We need YOU to help us achieve our goal of making a conference that highlights the great place-making that is happening in our region, and is appealing to a diverse planning audience including students, emerging professionals, allied and other creative professionals, academics, citizen-planners, mid-career professionals, and elected officials.

To get to the Kick Off, we suggest you walk, bike, Go Metro! or park in a nearby garage (we recommend the eight dollar parking in the 524 South Flower Street Garage between the Central Library and the California Club).
