Planners, engineers, landscape designers, architects, developers, and anyone with a vested interest in Los Angeles are buzzing with ideas on how to restore the Los Angeles River, turning it into an urban greenway with new recreational opportunities, new investment and a regional amenity for Los Angeles.

The 2015 LA Design Festival is curating a series of three events that will take place each weekend of the festival along the LA River, showcasing the diversity of innovative urban design projects that are planned or soon to be implemented.

The LADF’s River Makers Bash is a celebration co-hosted by local professional practices involved in the revitalization of the river. Members of APA, AIA, ASCE, and ASLA, river-curious Angelenos, and community members are invited to a unique venue on Mission Street for an evening of outdoor revelry and riverly festivities in a river-adjacent neighborhood that is experiencing an arts-driven renaissance.

Ticket price includes beverages and music by dublab; food will be available for purchase. Tickets are on sale now here.

Parking / Transit Information: The venue is a 10-minute walk from the Pico / Aliso Station on the Metro Gold Line. Ample street parking is available.
