Hosted by a cohort of student planning organizations at UCLA, this year’s theme will focus on Social Justice and Community Engagement. Specifically, addressing how urban planners engage marginalized communities in a wide range of planning arenas, and ways to better strategize for equitable outcomes.
Guest speakers and workshops will focus on the following topics:
- Complete Streets Policy
- Race and the Streets
- Career Panel featuring guests from academic, public, private, and non-profit fields
The event will conclude with a networking mixer/happy hour to be held in Westwood Village. Further event details, including how to register, will be made available soon.
