Join APA Los Angeles for our 2016 Awards Gala at The Colburn School in Downtown Los Angeles, celebrating the best of planning in the Los Angeles area! This annual ceremony recognizes the exceptional efforts being carried out by urban planners, advocates, elected officials and others to make great communities happen. It is a gathering of our region’s most active and innovative urban planning professionals, and award winners include professionals from cities, agencies, non-profits, and consulting firms.

Join us for a hosted bar and coffee cart throughout the evening, hors d’ouevres and dessert from Bon Appetit in the South Plaza (adjacent to the Colburn School), and some optional pre-awards events–to be announced soon.

The run of show includes:

6:00 PM Hors d’ouevres and Hosted Bar; optional pre-awards activities

7:00 PM Awards Ceremony

8:30 PM Coffee and Dessert Reception

Festivities at the Colburn School will end at 9:30PM. Attendees will be able to keep the party going with the Young and Emerging Planning Professionals’ YEPP After Party. Details to be announced soon.

 

Parking/Transit Information:

By rail transit: Take the Red Line to the Civic Center Station stop. Walk north along 1st Street toward Grand Avenue (2 Blocks). Make left at Grand Avenue to 2nd Street.
