Job Description

Senior Administrative Analyst 

$6,179.00 – $8,691.00 Monthly

$74,148.00 – $104,292.00 Annually

The City of Laguna Beach is seeking experienced, and forward-thinking individuals to fill the role of Senior Administrative Analyst. The City currently has two vacancies. Community Development Department: This position will assist the Community Development Director by developing, coordinating and implementing major programs and special assignments. This position will also perform in depth research and statistical analysis on administrative and operational issues, and land-use matters including State planning and housing laws. Fire Department: This position will support the Fire Chief in a myriad of duties including budgeting, preparing reports and memos, contract creation and compliance. This position will also oversee department projects and assist with the implementation of the Strategic Plan. Graduation from a recognized four year college or university program with major work in public administration, business administration, or a related field is required. A Master’s Degree is desirable. Four (4) years of experience journey-level technical or administrative capacity is required. Previous work experience in a Community Development Department or Fire Department is desirable.
