Luis Rodriguez

Luis is a native Angelino and holds an Executive Master's in Urban Planning from the University of Southern California. He also holds a B.A. and M.A. in Chicana/o Studies with an emphasis in Black & Brown Relations in Los Angeles from CSU Northridge. He currently holds the Public Health seat on the LA Metro Sustainability Council. He previously worked at TreePeople where he focused on community engagement, empowerment, and resiliency through the nexus of urban forestry, restoration, and climate resiliency. He is currently a Program Manager of Civic Engagement at the California Community Foundation where he focuses on post-COVID economic and community resiliency, public policy, and systems-change based CBO partnerships.
