Every two years, the American Planning Association publishes the State of Transportation Planning report to highlight the latest research, solutions, thinking and planning happening across the United States in transportation. As we deepen our understanding of how the ongoing evolution of transportation and mobility shape human health and the environment, now more than ever, we need to share our ideas and successes with our fellow transportation planners.

We need you. The call for submissions for the 2020 State of Transportation Planning is now open through September 30. What success stories, research, and innovative ideas can you share with your fellow transportation professionals? The theme of the 2020 report is:

“Moving People Over Cars: Mobility for Healthy Communities”

We’re particularly interested in submissions related to equity and advocacy, public health, climate change and sustainability, resiliency and disaster planning, great goods movement, land use and transportation, emerging technology, and “small” thinking.
