Our Bylaws are the guiding document by which APA Los Angeles’ Board of Directors conducts business, carries out the objectives of the American Planning Association, and serves members of the Los Angeles Section. It’s been several years since we last revised them, so on September 27, the Section Board will vote on an update that modernizes business practices, adds position descriptions, and memorializes standing committees. In the interest of openness and transparency, we’re sharing the proposed bylaws with all members.
