Where is the new world of product specification going? Products that perform aren’t necessarily safe – and safer products don’t necessarily perform. Where can we find the common ground in this new arena of design performance? This talk will look at four items:

Identifying areas of most significant impact to building occupants
Define a truly actionable and achievable materials goal for targeted healthy material specification
Introducing awareness into the manufacturing process as a logical first step
