Senator Wiener, fresh off passing his monumental legislation, SB 35, will discuss the new package of housing bills recently signed by the Governor.

 

Phil Ansell, Director, LA County Office of Homeless Initiative

Plans for the new $1 Billion Measure H Fund to Fight Homelessness

As Director of the LA County Office of Homeless Initiative, Phil oversees the new funding from Measure H, passed by LA County voters in March, 2017. Measure H is projected to raise $355 million annually for the next 10 years. Phil will discuss the adopted three-year $1 billion plan to fund rental subsidies, services to support those placed in permanent housing, outreach and strengthening and expansion of the shelter system.
