OUT at the Black Cat: Honoring our Past and Planning our Future

Join fellow LGBTQ community members and Allies for an interactive, hands-on workshop where the community can reflect, and imagine what a hate free community would look like through story telling, art making and play. This workshop will create a safe space to come together, bond, and generate innovative ideas and establish long term values. With instructions from James Rojas- the group will start with a playful activity that begins with examining our enduring “queer” childhood memories. This investigation and its recommendations can contribute LGBTQ’s spatial values impacting urban planning.
