San Gabriel Mountains Hike and Brunch POSTPONED
March 28, 2020  from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Eaton Canyon Nature Center, 1750 North Altadena Drive, Pasadena, CA 91107

A Message from APA Los Angeles:

Thank you for registering for the San Gabriel Mountains Hike and Brunch. We have been monitoring CDC and WHO updates for the most current information and recommendations as to how to respond to the coronavirus pandemic. We are committed to adopting the practices that offer the best protection for our community.

Bringing 35 people together to break bread and converse together over a wondrous hike risks increasing community transmission of the coronavirus. In light of the many scientists’ recommendations, clear civic and social responsibility, and needed widespread community action, we are postponing this event until further notice.

We would like to let you know we are thinking of you and focused on the well-being of our members during these challenging times. You may feel helpless about what will happen or what you can do to prevent further stress. Focus on the things you can do. Wash your hands. Remind others to wash theirs. Do what helps you feel a sense of safety. Get outside in nature. Fresh air and quality time outdoors helps both your physical and mental health.

We can’t wait to hit the trails and break bread with you when it is safe for us to gather.

Thanks,

Sarah Syed and Nick Pergakes, APA Los Angeles
