Small businesses are the lifeblood of our communities and the activity centers of our neighborhoods, but they’ve been struggling like never before this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic recession. How can planners help to support their survival? Join us for a virtual panel discussion focusing on successful economic development strategies and placemaking programs that encourage social distancing. Panelists will include planners, business improvement districts, small businesses, economic development specialists, and finance specialists, primarily from Long Beach and other local communities, sharing their insights and experiences.
1.0 CM credit is pending for this event. Registration is limited to encourage a healthy dialogue. Please register here. Zoom meeting information will be emailed to you prior to the event.
