APA Los Angeles Activation at Black on the Block: BTS of Pop-Up Urbanism

In celebration of Women’s History Month, APA Los Angeles is partnering with Black on the Block to offer a unique behind-the-scenes activation at one of Los Angeles’ most dynamic pop-up urbanism events. Black on the Block, a women-owned platform, uplifts thousands of Black-owned businesses, creatives, professionals, and entrepreneurs in Los Angeles and nationwide. This hands-on experience will allow up to 20 urban planners and community development professionals to learn firsthand what it takes to produce a large-scale pop-up urbanism event. Wear your best tennis shoes, t-shirt, and working gear. We’ll be helping with set-up and takedown for the event!
Participants will engage in key event operations, including:
- Vendor Load-In
- Event Setup
- Vendor Load-Out
