The U.S. is at a standstill over the border wall, while Los Angeles continues to be a place of and for immigrants. The future of our region is deeply connected to the large numbers of immigrants living here and those still arriving. In the Los Angeles area, the immigrant presence is as much an opportunity as a challenge, especially for planning professionals. This event will explore efforts underway at the local government and community level to increase economic development, civic participation and integration for immigrants.
