Join the APA Los Angeles Young and Emerging Planners Committee for a Planning Skills Bootcamp. Our presenter Kamille Parks, will present how graphic design is crucial to the planning profession, an overview of various graphic design software, and tips all planners should know when creating graphics for projects. This bootcamp will provide attendees with the information necessary to begin incorporating graphic design skills into their professional portfolio, as well as the opportunity to earn 1.5 hours of CM credit.

Kamille Parks, AICP Candidate is an Urban Planner/Designer at Gruen Associates. Her career focus is in creating visually stimulating, interactive plans as a means to keep large-scale urban projects transparent for all stakeholders. In addition to her work as a planner, Kamille is an Adjunct Instructor at USC and is the co-host of the database podcast “BuiltOnAir.” She received her Masters in Planning from USC in 2018.
