The Los Angeles County Chief Sustainability Office and community partners used an inclusive process to co-develop the first-ever Countywide Sustainability Plan – a bold vision for our diverse region encompassing 88 cities and 10 million people. Learn about the methods used to elevate the perspectives and priorities of historically impacted communities, bridging the divide between policy and public. Embracing an equity-centered approach holds important lessons for planners, making it possible to amplify community voices and accelerating momentum for change.
