Please join us for a discussion with those working to advocate for and develop 100% affordable housing projects in California. As we all know California is facing a housing crisis and is in dire need of new housing and especially affordable housing. The State Legislature and local jurisdictions have been working to facilitate development of these much needed projects and laws and procedures have been changing rapidly. We will be holding a moderated
discussion with three panelists: Mellody Lock, Director of Development – Affirmed HousingSimon Ha – Skid Row Housing Trust Board of Directors/ Steinberg HartJesse Slansky, President & CEO – West Hollywood Community Housing Corporation

The event will start with a moderated discussion touching on topics including: How affordable housing projects get started, how projects are shaped and impacted by the public funding they receive, challenges still affecting the development of new affordable housing projects, how State Legislation has impacted affordable housing projects, and more. The moderated discussion will be followed by Q&A from participants.
