Required Experience / Skills / Education
Minimum Requirements:
- Eight years of professional urban planning experience, including three years of supervisory experience with a public agency.
- A Bachelor’s degree with major course work in urban planning, geography, or a related field. A Master’s degree is desirable.
- Valid California Class “C” driver’s license at time of application.
The Ideal Candidate will have
- Strong analytical skills to identify solutions and alternatives to proposed actions;
- Excellent communication skills;
- A collaborative approach in addressing projects; and
- Strong skills in new urbanism principles and practices.
