AECOM is seeking a Planning Intern to be based in Los Angeles, CA
This position is expected to begin in June 2022.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Support planning studies and reports for new and updated plans, programs, and regulations.
- Produce public-facing reports, maps, and other materials for project meetings and community outreach events.
- Create engaging document layouts, diagrams, infographics, and/or renderings.
- Collect and analyze data on both built environment and socioeconomic conditions, including from census/land use/property databases.
- Participate in field investigations, site analysis, and research activities.
- Marketing and proposal support
Minimum Requirements
- Currently enrolled in bachelor’s degree program in Urban Planning or related field
- Must have completed 2 years of study
- Due to the nature of work, US Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in master’s degree program in Urban Planning or related field
- Experience with SketchUp or other 3D applications
- Knowledge of planning-related equity issues and analysis tools
- Knowledge of local, regional, and statewide housing policies
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/InDesign required)
