Job Description
The City of Beverly Hills is seeking volunteer commissioners for the Design Review Commission.
- One (1) vacancy – term beginning January 1, 2023
- Two (2) vacancies – term beginning July 1, 2023
*Please note: there is one vacancy for a licensed residential or landscape architect. The candidate can be a resident or non-resident of Beverly Hills.
Established in 2004, and supported by the Community Development Department, the Design Review Commission reviews proposed single-family residential projects in the Central Area of the City.
Required Experience / Skills / Education
- Background or interest in architecture
- Ability or willingness to learn how to read architectural plans
- Familiarity with the characteristics of the residential areas in Beverly Hills, CA
- Ability to attend in-person meetings
