Job Description
WE’RE HIRING people to help us build as much housing as possible, as quickly as possible, for those who need it most. Metro is committed to growing its housing portfolio to 10,000 homes — 5,000 of which will be income-restricted – by 2031. We have a plan for creating more opportunities to live and work near transit. It includes partnering with developers and community stakeholders to build housing — particularly affordable housing — on Metro-owned properties. We are also working on a variety of economic development projects and development review efforts.
And we need your help! We have opportunities for permanent and limited-term positions ranging from entry-level to Senior Director. We are looking for folks with experience in areas including: project management; economic development community outreach; architectural/design review; land use, CEQA or permitting; stakeholder outreach; financial proforma production or review; ArcGIS, graphic design and database management.
