Under the direction of the Senior Transportation Planner, the incumbent will independently assist, support, and or lead a variety of critical District and statewide Transportation Planning tasks, which will vary in complexity and sensitivity. The incumbent will primarily serve as a Transportation Modeler and Travel Forecaster and assume a lead role in the Division for the collection of transportation data. The incumbent is expected to possess strong written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of Transportation Planning principles, the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team-setting, as well as a deep commitment to the Department’s strategic vision, mission, values, and goals, to provide excellent customer service, and to advance equity through all efforts.
