Under the general direction of a Senior Transportation Planner the incumbent supports the District’s coordination with HQ Division of Transportation Planning (DOTP) Active Transportation & Complete Streets (AT&CS) and Strategic Investment Planning on active transportation project nominations for non-SHOPP and SHOPP funding programs; supports district and Headquarters Active Transportation & Complete Streets development of a pipeline of active transportation projects and moving those projects through project delivery phases to construction; supports coordination with internal and external partners to identify active transportation needs and project concepts; supports development of applications for state and federal competitive funding applications; participate in studies or analyses related to complete streets and active transportation.
