Job Description
Metro’s Joint Development team has a unique opportunity to fill an immediate need at the Senior Manager level to assist with the implementation of Metro’s 10,000 Home Commitment. Specifically, we are looking for individuals with a background in managing real estate development projects with hands-on experience in facilitating the entitlement and predevelopment process. Though not required, experience with affordable, multifamily housing is always a plus. We are looking for nimble problem-solvers, capable of communicating complex plans to internal and public stakeholders in diverse, multi-lingual communities.
Required Experience / Skills / Education
- Experience organizing and conducting community and stakeholder engagement meetings with various internal/external groups or organizations
- Experience preparing and/or processing various transactional documents for the sale or long-term lease of real property
- Experience reviewing, analyzing, and reporting financial data for commercial real estate projects to determine project strengths and weaknesses
- Experience managing subordinate staff, guiding their work activities, and assessing their workflow progress and achievements
- Experience reviewing plans and specifications of proposed multi-family, mixed-use, or other related project developments
