Under the general direction of the Aeronautics Program Director the incumbent acts as a representative of and provides support to the Program Director across all aspects of the Aeronautics Program. The incumbent will coordinate and track implementation of the Caltrans Division of Transportation Planning (DOTP) Strategic Plan and Aeronautics strategic goals, as well as provide review, analysis, and recommendations to the Aeronautics Program Director on the wide array of policy, planning, and administrative issues. As a representative of the Aeronautics Program, the incumbent will manage tasks and coordinate activities that involve multiple offices and programs, divisions, districts, partners, or other governmental agencies. The incumbent has skills in leadership and organization, interest in supporting the Department, Planning and Modal Programs (PMP), DOTP, and Aeronautics strategic goals and vision, a spirit of innovation, and a commitment to advancing equity through all efforts. This is a non-supervisory position.
