Job Description
California real estate architect /developer seeks a resourceful, professional for a flexible, contract-based master planning role to design residential concepts for proposed projects in San Jose and LA County.
* Schedule: Minimum 5 hours per week in-office; remainder remote.
* Office Location: West Hollywood / Beverly Hills area.
We are designing high-density residential layouts tailored to challenging, sloping terrain layouts and refined attached housing products optimized for acquisition by premier merchant builders. You will bridge site planning and product refinement, analyzing topography, zoning overlays, and utility.
Required Experience / Skills / Education
**Qualifications:**
* Architecture, Urban Design, Product Refinement, and Master Planning background.
Hillside development, zoning overlays, and infrastructure utility experience.
* Experience with major merchant builders / production homebuilders (e.g., Toll Brothers, Kaufman and Broad) highly preferred.
* Autonomous, direct principal reporting.
Part-time / Hourly Contract / Hybrid.
