Ventura County invites applications for a Natural Resources Planner (Planner IV) position with an excellent benefits package and salary range from $72,381.88 to $106,822.93 annually; salary dependent upon career experience and qualifications.
Required Experience / Skills / Education
The ideal candidate will have project management, critical thinking, and independent decision-making skills. Candidates must be able to review and process entitlement applications, prepare written staff reports and CEQA environmental documents, and be able to present to boards and commissions effectively. Highly desired candidates will have a Master’s degree in Urban Planning or a related field and 5+ years of progressively complex work experience in land-use planning, and some experience processing mining, oil and gas entitlement.
