KMA has an immediate opportunity for a Real Estate Analyst in our downtown Los Angeles office to perform a variety of financial analyses, with a focus on affordable housing development transaction pro forma analyses, Development Agreement value enhancement analyses, and other feasibility studies and analyses. The Analyst will work on multiple ongoing client assignments, including tasks such as:
- Financial gap analyses for affordable housing projects that use multiple public assistance sources
- Excel spreadsheet analyses to test the financial feasibility of proposed development projects
- Economic and planning research related to economic development studies
- Field research in support of market demand studies
- Telephone surveys of developers, brokers, and property owners
The salary is $50,000 annually or negotiable – dependent on qualifications. KMA offers a competitive benefits package including but not limited to a Profit Sharing and Salary Deferral (401K) plan.
Required Experience / Skills / Education
The preferred candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in economics, real estate, finance, urban planning, or a related field. Candidates must have advanced Microsoft Excel modeling skills; strong analytical, communication, and writing abilities; and proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
