Job Description

Planning Associates, Inc. is a leading land use planning and environmental firm in the Los Angeles area whose Clients include major institutions and private developers involved with some of the most interesting on going projects in the Los Angeles area. PAI has an immediate opening for a self-motivated Land Use Planner/Project Manager interested in working in our unique multi-disciplinary firm.  Requirements include experience in entitlement and permit processing in the City of Los Angeles, strong research and analytical skills, excellent writing and oral communication skills and a proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.). PAI offers excellent benefits which include medical, dental and vision care, life insurance, 401(k) Plan with Employer contribution, paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays.

 

Required Experience / Skills / Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in urban/city planning or related area of study
  • Experience in entitlement and permit processing in the City of Los Angeles
  • Excellent writing, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate and work as a team member
