The Assistant Marketing Coordinator (AMC) is a part-time position, which performs a variety of tasks related to business development, proposals and marketing for the company. The AMC position is responsible for coordinating regular updates of AA’s Statement of Qualification (SOQ)-related materials, involving: composing, editing, tracking, and organizing marketing-oriented materials, such as staff resumes, project histories and firm profile. This position is responsible for ensuring all items remain up to date for inclusion in ongoing proposal and marketing efforts. This position involves conducting internal and external research, collaboration with team members, formatting information according to AA creative standards and guidelines, as well as creating products that are professional and comprehensive. Successful candidates for the AMC position should enjoy writing and editing; be articulate, organized, detail-oriented; and possesses excellent written communication skills.
Required Experience / Skills / Education
- Have a minimum of two years’ experience in journalism, communication, marketing, or related field
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be flexible and able to multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Be highly organized and detail-oriented
- Be comfortable interacting with both internal staff and external partners at various levels
- Be well versed in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Dropbox
- Possess basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs (Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Fluency in English (required)
