Job Description
The Planning Department of the Transportation & Land Management Agency (TLMA) has an opportunity for a Land Use Technician I/II located in Riverside, CA. The Land Use Technician I/II will play an important role in the planning case application intake process, research zoning ordinances, general plan and specific plans. The selected candidate will inform developers, contractors and members of the public, on matters pertaining to land use regulations and the basic construction plan intake process.
Competitive candidates will posses:
• Basic knowledge of zoning code, general plans, specific plans.
• Strong customer service skills dealing with the public.
• Ability to multi-task and effectively stay organized.
• Experience with case management or entitlement tracking software.
• Ability to utilize basic computer software and navigate through document filing systems.
