Transportation Planner

Job Description

STV is currently have an opening for an entry-level Transportation Planner for our Transportation and Infrastructure division to assist with transit and environmental initiatives. The position can be based in our Los Angeles or Oakland, CA offices. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting on multidisciplinary transit and environmental projects
  • Writing and editing technical reports and documents
  • Producing GIS maps and graphics to support client deliverables
  • Preparing for and attending meetings with clients, the public, and others
  • Supporting proposal writing for future pursuits

Required Experience / Skills / Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in planning or similar curriculum (Master’s preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management skills and multitasking abilities
  • Knowledge of CEQA and NEPA preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ArcGIS required. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite strongly preferred
