SENIOR PLANNER
$85,727.04 – $111,600.00 Annually
The City of Alhambra is in search of a Senior Planner. Under general supervision, Senior Planner initiates, organizes and coordinates major planning studies and moderately complex planning, urban design, or development projects; prepares reports on a variety of complex current and long range planning issues; is responsible for the application of current and advanced planning principles and techniques; coordinates planning activities with other City divisions and departments; performs professional and complex level work in the field of planning, zoning, and environmental analysis; and performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Experience / Skills / Education
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in urban planning/design, architecture or a closely related field and five years of increasingly responsible experience in regional planning and/or technical work conducting planning studies and assisting with project reviews are required. Local government experience is desirable.
