We are looking for a talented and motivated individual with a background in transportation planning, engineering, data science, or math/statistics to support the transportation demand management (TDM) program at various office campuses across North America for a global tech company based in Sunnyvale, CA.
The role of the Electric Vehicle (EV) Policy and Parking Analysis Coordinator is to directly support the ongoing delivery of our client’s transportation services program by using a data-driven decision making approach to develop new policies, strategies and approaches to improve the efficiency of EV and parking infrastructure. This will include analyzing parking access and utilization data to understand inefficient patterns or processes and develop policies or tools to improve them. It will also include analyzing EV charging data and coordinating with the EV infrastructure and communications team to identify effective policies and strategies to maximize the use of EV charging across office sites. While analysis and solutions development is a key focus of the role, relationship-building and communications will also be an important aspect of implementing new policies, processes and programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support in the strategic delivery of electric vehicle charging and parking access at sites across North America, including the use of data analysis and forecasting tools
Work closely with on-site Transportation Coordinators to understand local challenges and opportunities for EV and parking efficiencies
Continuously explore large-scale policy solutions for EV charging and parking management
Develop tailored, site-specific policies for EV charging infrastructure management
Develop analytical tools to accelerate or automate processes related to EV and parking programs
Collaborate with EV and parking vendors/operators to identify and improve data collection, reporting and monitoring processes
Collaborate with the Transportation Technology Infrastructure team to identify digital solutions to support EV and parking programs
Support communications strategy development for EV and parking policy changes
Monitor and track EV and parking data via ongoing program evaluation
Identify opportunities to improve standardization of data collection, reporting, process management and policy development across all Transportation-supported offices
Provide strategic insight and support to Transportation Program Managers
Collaborate on project management tasks across multiple teams via Asana

Work Environment
All Steer employees in this full-time role are required to spend 60% of their time in office. An employee’s typical work week consists of 40 hours (37.5 for Canadians). Hours, expectations, and exemption status will be adjusted for any applicant seeking a part-time opportunity.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $70,000 – $90,000USD.
Do be advised that this is an estimated benchmark salary of good faith. All compensation, regardless of location, may be subject to change as skills, abilities, internal equity, and geographic location are taken into account.
In addition to base wage, all employees will be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus, prorated to their contracted hours. Please review the benefits section for more information on total reward.

Required Experience / Skills / Education
4-7 years’ experience in transportation, engineering, data science, math/statistics, or other relevant field
Excellent analytical skills, especially with spreadsheets and databases
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience or understanding of policy/strategy/processes for multimodal transportation, behavior change, and/or transportation planning concepts
Proficiency with Google Suite (sheets, docs, slides), website management, and project management software beneficial, but not required
