Yassaman (Yassi) Sarvian is an urban and environmental planner passionate about helping communities across Los Angeles and California plan sustainably and equitably for climate resilience. She is a senior urban and environmental planner and sustainability specialist at Jacobs, where she works on transportation, water resources, and renewable energy projects across California, ensuring environmental compliance is obtained and that capital projects are planned and built with sustainability and resilience in mind. Yassi has also been an active member of APA California, serving in various leadership roles within the Sacramento Valley Section, including Section Director, Director of Membership, Diversity, and Equity, Young Planners Group Chair, and Programs Co-Chair for the Young Planners Group. A born and raised Angeleno, Yassi received her Bachelors of Science in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning at UC Davis, and obtained her Masters in Urban and Regional Planning at UCLA.
