Thank you to those who provided quick and thoughtful responses to our request for comments on the revised SB 50 bill! We have passed along these recommendations to our parent chapter, APA California for consideration.

Given that the local flexibility plan option is consistent with APA California’s legislative policies, APA California has shifted their position to neutral as they work with the author and legislature on the still critical issues that need to be addressed to make these plans a real alternative to the SB 50 default requirements.

We will keep you updated on our progress, and will continue to solicit your advice on amendments in the coming months.
