California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Courses
The California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) is one of California’s most significant environmental laws. The law requires state and local agencies to analyze environmental impacts of a proposed project and adopt feasible alternatives and mitigation measures to avoid or substantially reduce significant impacts.
UC San Diego Extension offers the CEQA Practice certificate, which includes courses that address many aspects of CEQA law, in order to provide professionals with a unique opportunity to gain the knowledge and practical skills vital to their practice. Coursework will offer project-based work as a central focus of training in order for students to develop a portfolio of work that can be shared with potential employers or clients.
