The City of Salinas (the City) is seeking to establish a list of qualified consulting firms (Consultants) to perform long-range and current planning services on an “on-call” basis.
The City sometimes requires additional professional planning services and expertise to augment/increase internal capacity. This may be as either a technical consultant managing a project or as an extension of City staff. The City will review qualifications and create a list of on-call consultants. The City does not expect team responses will necessarily include each focus area, or expertise in every aspect of each focus area. As appropriate, the City may conduct additional competitive processes prior to awarding contracts for more specific scopes of work. Selection for an on-call list does not guarantee work or a commitment to enter into a contract with the consultant. Once approved by City Council, the list shall be valid for a three (3) year period.
