The City of Redondo Beach (City) requests that interested planning and environmental
firms submit a proposal for amending the City’s Local Coastal Program (LCP). The City
received a grant from the California Coastal Commission to amend the LCP by conducting
technical studies to inform necessary LCP updates, creating a draft and final LCP that
focuses on sea level rise adaptation and coastal resiliency planning, and providing
comprehensive document reorganization to enhance the usability of the LCP.
Proposals must be submitted electronically through the City’s procurement portal hosted
by OpenGov on the City’s website at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/redondo.
The deadline for submission of proposals is Friday, January 23, 2026, by 5:00 pm PST.
Bidders must direct all questions, clarifications, request for information, etc. regarding the
RFP to OpenGov. Bidders may not contact other City officials or staff regarding this RFP.
