APA Los Angeles Hosts 2015 Legislative Update
The APA Los Angeles Section hosted a 2015 Legislative Update on December 9th. 20+ planning professionals were provided an update of planning-related legislation, regulations, and case law that APA California lobbied in 2015, including detailed information signed into law, implementation recommendations, regulations adopted during the year, and any case law or budget changes that impact planners and planning in California. APA’s lobbying process was also discussed as well as how our legislative team arrives at their positions on various proposed bills. A big thanks to John Terell, APA California’s Vice President of Policy and Legislation and Sande George and Lauren De Valencia of Stefan/George Associates for donating their time to inform our membership.
