Last week, the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) began notifying registrants for the upcoming AICP certification exam that the exam will not occur in May 2020. AICP, an institute for the national certification of professional planners, had been working with its exam testing partner, Prometric, to adjust the May testing window, since Prometric’s testing facilities have been closed since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

A future testing window has not yet been scheduled for the May 2020 exam, which had an original testing window of May 11-23, 2020. AICP is actively exploring possibilities for an expanded testing window with new exam dates this summer, including potential alternative remote online testing options. Additional information will be announced as soon as it becomes available.
