Planning for Diversity in the Just City: Latinos and Planning in a Changing America
The Latinos and Planning (LAP) Division is excited to present a four-part webinar series titled, “Planning for Diversity in the Just City: Latinos and Planning in a Changing America.” The key objective of the series is to highlight ways by which planners within APA are addressing Latino issues and how Latino planners are, themselves, being perceived within their profession. Experts in the field will discuss issues of community engagement, gentrification, how to address cultural divides, among other key topics in addressing equity and inclusion. Participants will be exposed to collective knowledge, skills, and best-practice tools that would serve our division members, but also planners across the U.S. that may encounter the need to address a new emerging Latino population as well as other underrepresented minorities.
Registration is FREE for LAP members, $30 for non-members, and $140 is the group rate per webinar. Join the Division at http://www.planning.org/divisions/join/
