APA California 2016 Conference: MAKE IT YOURS!
The Los Angeles Section of the American Planning Association is hosting the 2016 California Planning Conference in Pasadena on October 22-25, 2016. We need VOLUNTEERS to serve on the Conference Planning Committee!
Please join us for the CONFERENCE KICKOFF on April 14th, 2015 from 6pm to 8pm at Gensler Los Angeles (500 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA 90071):
- Learn more about the conference planning process and the Conference Committees (Diversity, Mobile Workshops, Planners’ Guide/Orientation Tours, Program and Sessions, Public Relations and Merchandising, Special Events, Sponsorships, Volunteers, Others?)
- Sign up to serve on one (or more) conference committees
- Participate in some fun, interactive conference brainstorming
- Give us feedback on the proposed 2016 California Planning Conference theme and logo
We need YOU to help us achieve our goal of making a conference that highlights the great place-making that is happening in our region, and is appealing to a diverse planning audience including students, emerging professionals, allied and other creative professionals, academics, citizen-planners, mid-career professionals, and elected officials.
To get to the Kick Off, we suggest you walk, bike, Go Metro! or park in a nearby garage (we recommend the eight dollar parking in the 524 South Flower Street Garage between the Central Library and the California Club).
We can’t do this without you, and look forward to working with you to make this conference a reflection of you and your passions!
