LA County Dept. of Regional Planning’s Community Planning Month Speaker Series
Join us for a Community Planning Month Speaker Series: Presented by the LA County Department of Regional Planning (DRP) and APA LA throughout the month of October.
Tied to APA’s 2019 National Community Planning month, this speaker series aims to provide an interactive learning experience through diverse speakers and planning topics focused on the theme of “Infrastructure that Benefits All.” Infrastructure can refer to the physical, built environment, including housing, roads, trails, or even open space that helps form the fabric of a community, or it can refer to more fluid networks and services including broadband, healthcare, or social networks formed by community residents, volunteer organizations, and CBOs that serve to maintain the cohesiveness of a community through planning principles.
